Hotel Reservations

Each delegate is responsible for making his or her own hotel reservation. The cost of the hotel room is not included in the registration fee. Any guestroom changes, cancellations, etc., are the delegate’s responsibility and must be made directly with the hotel according to the guidelines below in order to avoid financial penalty.

 

A room block is being held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront for participants. The preferred room rate is $154 USD per night, single or double occupancy, plus tax. When making reservations by phone (1.888.421.1442), please ask for The Shingo Prize room block to receive the preferred room rate. The Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront must be contacted no later than April 9, 2012, to receive the group discount room rate. Sleeping rooms are based on availability and may sell out prior to the cutoff date.

Suggested hotels nearest to the Hyatt are the Crowne Plaza and the Omni. Note: The Shingo Prize does not have a room block at these hotels.

 

Hotel Cancellation Policy

Hyatt Hotels and Resorts offer guests the ability to cancel their individual reservations without penalty. Guests must call 24 hours prior to their scheduled arrival date to cancel the reservations to avoid being charged one night room and tax.

Parking

The Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront parking deck provides direct access into the hotel and offers discounted overnight self-parking of $10 per night, managed and operated by ProPark. Guests may use the hotel key card to enter and exit the garage after validating with the Front Desk. Garage entrance is located off Newnan Street.
