Executive Education

The Executive Education Program is a 12-month, highly integrated and intensive learning experience. Through a series of modules at different company sites, the Shingo Institute creates a holistic and dynamic view of leadership and its place within the Shingo Model™.

Each session includes Day 1 - Instruction and Day 2 - Gemba

  1. Understand the Shingo Model, Guiding Principles, and Three Insights of Enterprise Excellence.
  2. Learn how the Principles and truths enable us to define ideal behaviors.
  3. Learn the categories of ideal behavior and gain clarity in your own ideal behaviors and expectations.
  4. Learn how to ask great questions that reveal reality relative to those ideal behaviors.
  5. Engage and share with your peers in the experience as you work to apply the learning within your organization.
  6. Learn how to close the gap and improve results by focusing on the ideal behavior.
  7. Gain deeper understanding and practical experience with on-site learning and actively assessing for ideal behaviors in other organizations.
  8. Use the Shingo Enterprise Excellence Roadmap to link principles, ideal behaviors, systems, leading indicators, and questions with ideal results that directly apply within your own organization.
